

Groundbreaking for “The Vail” is scheduled for Q1 2026
Accordia, a full-service real estate investment and redevelopment firm, announced that it has received final site plan approval for the development of a 92-unit luxury apartment community and closed on the acquisition of the property in West Caldwell, New Jersey.
The Vail in West Caldwell is scheduled to break ground in the first quarter of 2026.
Located at 780 Passaic Avenue, directly across from the Mountain Ridge Country Club, The Vail will feature studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments designed to meet the needs of today’s diverse renter population.

Each unit will include high-end appliances and in-unit washer/dryers. A selection of residences will include private balconies to provide outdoor space and natural light. Reserved covered parking will be available to residents, offering ease of access in all seasons. A fully equipped fitness center, a community room, and coworking offices will be among the building’s initial amenities.
Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners is the project’s architect. The New Jersey-based firm is known for its expertise in designing high-profile multifamily and mixed-use buildings throughout the state.

West Caldwell is located approximately 16 miles west of New York City and offers convenient access to Route 46, I-80, and I-280. The township is also within reach of the Montclair train station and multiple commuter bus routes, making it a favorable location for those working in Manhattan or throughout North Jersey.
With a population of around 11,000, West Caldwell is recognized for its municipal services, school system, and proximity to the vibrant downtowns of Caldwell, Montclair, and Bloomfield. Its mix of suburban calm and regional access makes it a desirable residential destination.
