Bachelor’s degree: preferably in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
Accordia is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Real Estate Manager to support the acquisition, management, leasing, and execution of commercial real estate investments across the firm’s portfolio. This role will work closely with senior leadership and internal teams to drive operational performance, support investment initiatives, oversee tenant and property matters, and help unlock value across assets.
The ideal candidate has 4– 7 years’ experience, is detail-oriented, proactive, relationship-driven, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and skilled in managing a team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Asset & Property Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned commercial real estate assets.
- Coordinate with third-party property managers, engineers, vendors, and contractors to ensure efficient property operations.
- Monitor building performance, maintenance activity, capital projects, and tenant service requests.
- Conduct regular property inspections and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Assist in developing and implementing asset-specific business plans.
- Review operating expenses, CAM reconciliations, budgets, and variance reports.
- Ensure compliance with lease obligations, insurance requirements, and regulatory standards.
Leasing & Tenant Relations
- Support leasing team in their lease up initiatives.
- Maintain strong relationships with tenants, brokers, and service providers.
- Track lease expirations, critical dates, and tenant obligations.
- Assist with marketing efforts and property positioning strategies.
Acquisitions & Development Support
- Assist with acquisition underwriting, due diligence, and transition activities.
- Coordinate inspections, environmental reviews, surveys, zoning analysis, and vendor reports.
- Support development and redevelopment initiatives from planning through execution.
- Work alongside construction teams and consultants to monitor project timelines and budgets.
- Prepare investment summaries, financial analyses, and market research.
Financial & Reporting Responsibilities
- Review and finalize monthly property financials and operating statements.
- Prepare annual operating budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Track capital expenditures and monitor project-level financial performance.
- Review and finalize lender reporting, investor reporting, and ownership presentations.
- Analyze market trends, comparable properties, and portfolio performance metrics.
Team Collaboration
- Collaborate across acquisitions, asset management, brokerage, accounting, construction, and leadership teams.
- Participate in strategic discussions related to portfolio growth and value creation.
- Contribute to a culture centered on execution, accountability, and teamwork.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Full understanding of YARDI, in particular Voyager 7 & 8; procure to pay and CommercialCafe.
- Bachelor’s degree: preferably in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
- 4–7 years of commercial real estate experience in asset management and or, property management.
- Strong understanding of commercial leases, property operations, and financial analysis.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Self-starter mentality with strong attention to detail.
Preferred
- Experience with industrial, office, medical, and mixed-use assets.
- Familiarity with ARGUS, Yardi, MRI, or other real estate software platforms.
- Real estate license or pursuit of industry certifications is a plus.
- Experience working in an entrepreneurial real estate environment.
